Fostering school leadership capacity and digital inclusion for stronger learning environments

In Argentina, school leaders play a vital role in shaping equitable, high-quality learning environments. Yet, challenges such as the digital divide and unequal access to professional development can limit their ability to fully support teachers and students. Strengthening leadership capacity is essential to ensuring that initiatives from technology integration to policy reform translate into meaningful and lasting improvements in learning outcomes.
We collaborate with Enseñá por Argentina and the Varkey Foundation to build the skills, networks, and resources school leaders need to lead change in their schools and communities.
Our Work with Enseñá por Argentina
Enseñá por Argentina is a national organization committed to educational equity and transformation by supporting teacher leadership and institutional change.
Conectá x Argentina program
We are supporting the Enseñá por Argentina’s Conectá x Argentina program, which is working across 33 schools to provide satellite internet access and strengthen school leaders' capacity to integrate technology effectively in their schools.
In this partnership, Enseñá por Argentina has drawn on resources from our Resource Portal and consulted with the GSL team to design and deliver contextualized training sessions. These workshops aim to support school leaders in leveraging digital tools, strengthening leadership practices, and fostering more inclusive learning environments that improve student outcomes.
Our Work with the Varkey Foundation
The Varkey Foundation aims to enhance the quality of education by strengthening the teaching profession. Through advocacy, research, and partnerships across the world, the Varkey Foundation strives to build teachers’ capacities and practices to improve student learning.
With the Varkey Foundation in Argentina, we are currently co-convening the UNESCO Teacher Task Force School Leadership Network (SLN), a network of school leaders, education experts, and policymakers to address challenges and promote innovative solutions in school leadership. Additionally, they are also a part of our Latin America and the Caribbean Hub for School Leadership (LAC Hub), focused on building a shared regional agenda for school leadership in the region.
