Our journey

In Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), research shows effective school leadership as the most influential, cost-effective lever for boosting student outcomes and inclusive schools—yet systemic barriers often hold leaders back. In 2024, Global School Leaders launched the LAC Hub through a co-creation process: a deep ecosystem analysis, followed by uniting top civil society organizations from five countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, México, and Perú. This forged our mandate—regional collaboration, knowledge exchange, and contextual strategies—to drive systemic change. Today, our growing network invites partners to position leadership at the heart of educational quality and equity.

What is the LAC Hub?

The LAC Hub is a dynamic collaborative network uniting civil society organizations, policymakers, government institutions, funders, and multilaterals to elevate school leadership as the strategic driver of educational quality and equity across Latin America and the Caribbean. We catalyze systemic change by co-developing contextually rooted resources, research, strategies, and a unified regional voice for advocacy and collaboration. Our Network: Partners & Growth

The LAC Hub officially launched in February 2025 in São Paulo, Brazil. The network is built on a foundation of collaboration and country-specific contextualization.
