MAILING LIST
Over the past 30 years, access to education for girls has grown, yet deep gender inequalities persist. Poverty, gender-based violence, and discriminatory norms continue to undermine learning and limit life opportunities. Education systems often overlook these realities, and schools lack the support to respond.

Strengthening gender-equitable school leadership is a powerful way forward—leaders can shape school culture, influence teaching practices, and set the tone for true inclusion and equity.
The GESL Alliance is a network of organizations — initially in Kenya and Ghana and now in Nigeria and India — working to build more gender-equitable school systems. As a partner, you will receive both financial and technical support to launch or strengthen gender-focused programs for school leaders, while joining a collaborative community of practice that drives learning and policy impact.

Who We’re Looking For
In this second phase of the Alliance, we seek partners based in Nigeria and India with a strong presence in schools who are excited to strengthen their gender equity work. Whether you have led gender-focused initiatives or are just beginning to explore this space, we’ll work alongside partners to build capacity and impact.
