Advancing Women in School Leadership: Evidence-Based Approaches to Transformative Education Policy in the Global South:
This spotlight session aims to engage the audience in a discussion on the role of women in school leadership, including the opportunities, challenges and associated barriers, and their connection to school outcomes. Experts from IIEP-UNESCO and UNICEF Innocenti will share insights drawn from global trends and evidence in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), Southeast Asia (SE Asia), and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), highlighting the connection between women’s school leadership and student performance.

School Leadership and the Advancement of Technology: In this Spotlight Session, Guilherme Cintra, Innovation and Technology Director at the Lemann Foundation, draws on his experience as a teacher, school leader, product manager, and public servant to illustrate why leaders with a systemic vision are essential to harness AI's potential in making schools more humane environments.
